My goal is to provide a safe, judgment-free space for you to feel heard and understood as you explore challenges related to racial identity, particularly if you identify as Asian, Asian-American, or as a Person/Woman of Color.
Oftentimes, our lived experiences as POC (People of Color) can include stress, anxiety, depression, family conflict and trauma. I focus on helping you get in touch with what's no longer serving you or keeping you stuck, and collaborate in figuring out how to live a life that feels fulfilling, hopeful and aligns with your values. Culturally-Sensitive Therapy can be an empowering way to help you feel seen, foster your personal growth & development, and gain tools to improve your quality of life. Often after the first session, clients describe feeling relief, and less anxious. If this sounds like what you're looking for, it would be an honor to journey alongside you.
If you identify as a Christian and would like to incorporate faith/spirituality in our sessions, we can discuss how this may look during our 1st session. That being said, I also work with clients who do not identify as Christian and discuss spirituality as much or as little as you’d like.
When I’m not providing therapy, I enjoy quality time with my family, yoga, dancing, the outdoors and checking out local cafés.

In my many years of knowing her as a colleague, I have witnessed how well she cares for her soul and the souls of her clients. I appreciate Genevieve's holistic and inclusive approach to therapy. I recommend Genevieve without any reservations!
