Hope to show up more authentically in life
Is it hard for you to identify why you’re feeling emotional, down, irritable? Do you feel stuck in old, repetitive thought patterns? Is negative self-talk making you hard on yourself? Are you having trouble communicating with loved ones? Do you want to move forward from the past?
Hope to learn how to communicate in healthier, effective ways
Want to learn how to process your emotions
Need support processing and healing from past wounds to move forward
Want to shift negative self-talk to healthier ways of thinking
Need a safe space to grieve, feel, and learn how to emotionally regulate
Individual therapy is where I would meet solely with the individual who is seeking services. Sessions are usually 55 minutes and with new clients, I recommend meeting weekly. When symptoms feel more manageable, we can assess whether meeting every other week would be appropriate and the duration of treatment would depend on your needs.
I appreciate the safe space Genevieve creates with her warm presence and benevolent intention. The good, the ugly, and the ‘I don’t know’s’ are heard from a place of acceptance and curiosity.
Does your family get stuck in negative cycles? Are you having trouble communicating and understanding one another? Does conflict just get swept under the rug, but never get resolved?
Seek a safe space to explore the family's feelings regarding an event/loss to heal
Need help learning how to communicate more healthily with one another
Would like to learn how to resolve conflict more effectively
Want to strengthen your relationship with one another
Need support navigating life transitions that are causing strain on the family

Family therapy is where I would meet with two adult members of a family who are seeking services. Sessions are usually 60 minutes (could be 75 or 90 minutes if needed) and with new family clients, I recommend meeting weekly. If the family seems to be in a more stable place, we can assess whether meeting every other week would be appropriate and the duration of treatment would depend on the family’s needs.
*Please note that if you are hoping to use insurance, one family member would need to be the “identified patient.” We can discuss this further.
